Meet Dr Ted Reataza
Chiropractor | Gonstead Practitioner
Dr Ted Reataza graduated from RMIT University and has been practising chiropractic since 2009.
Throughout his career, Ted has dedicated himself to mastering the Gonstead System of chiropractic, a traditional, hands-on approach that emphasises thorough assessment, precision and specific spinal adjustments.
Rather than dividing his attention across multiple techniques, Ted has chosen to concentrate on one, continually refining his knowledge, clinical judgement and hands-on skills.
With nearly two decades of clinical experience, Ted believes that good chiropractic care begins with understanding the individual, not simply treating the symptoms.
Traditional chiropractic. A precise approach. Care that’s always personal.

Why Chiropractic?
Ted was drawn to chiropractic by a desire to help people experiencing pain and physical discomfort through a natural, hands-on approach.
Having personally experienced back pain and headaches, he understands how significantly pain can interfere with everyday life, affecting work, sleep, relationships and family time.
This personal understanding has helped shape his approach to patient care. For Ted, chiropractic is about more than performing an adjustment. It's about listening, understanding and helping people make informed decisions about their health.
Why Gonstead?
Developed by Dr Clarence Gonstead in the early 20th century, the Gonstead System is a traditional chiropractic approach built on thorough assessment, careful analysis and precise, specific spinal adjustments.
What sets Gonstead apart is its systematic approach to understanding the spine. From detailed examination and X-ray analysis when clinically indicated, to specialised adjusting tables and techniques, every aspect is designed to support accuracy and specificity.
For 18 years, Ted has dedicated his professional career to this one system because he believes strongly in its principles and approach to chiropractic care.
Rather than practising multiple techniques, Ted has chosen to focus on Gonstead, continually refining his clinical judgement, assessment methods and hands-on adjusting skills.
His belief is simple: when you focus on doing one thing exceptionally well, every detail matters.
A Different Approach to Chiropractic
We Listen First
Every patient has a different history, different concerns and different goals. Ted takes the time to understand your circumstances before discussing your treatment options.
Private, Personalised Care
Your appointments take place in a private consultation room. There’s no open-plan treatment area or assembly-line approach. Your appointment is dedicated to you.
No Unnecessary Treatment Commitments
We don’t believe patients should feel pressured into lengthy treatment contracts or predetermined packages. Any recommendations are based on your clinical presentation and individual needs.
Honest Professional Advice
Not every condition is suitable for chiropractic treatment. If Ted believes another healthcare professional or treatment approach would be more appropriate, he’ll explain why and recommend the next steps.
